Michael V. shares health update after getting COVID-19

A few days after Michael V. announced that he tested positive for coronavirus, the comedian posted a photo of himself in the hospital.

But Bitoy assured that he only underwent an x-ray to check if he had pneumonia, because he noticed that he would tire quickly.

Stay home everyone and stay safe. ????????

"May nakita silang pwedeng “pagmulan” ng pneumonia pero hindi naman daw kailangang magpa-ospital," he said.

He said he is now taking antibiotics and is continuing his self-quarantine.

Bitoy thanks those who continue to pray for his and his family's safety.

He also urged everyone to take care and be responsible.

"Maging responsable at gawin ang lahat ng makakaya para hindi kayo mahawa o makahawa," he said.

"Laging maging malinis sa paligid at pangangatawan. At lagi ring magsuot ng mask at PPE. Stay home everyone and stay safe," he added.

In his video announcement, Bitoy said he experienced flu-like symptoms the last time he tried to vlog. He also lost his sense of smell and taste.

However, he assured the public that he is getting better.

Bitoy is among the few celebrities like Iza Calzado, Christopher de Leon, and Howie Severino who caught COVID-19.
