Mariah Carey reacts to Lloyd Cafe Cadena's death: 'You will be missed'


Mariah Carey couldn't help but be moved upon hearing about the passing of one of her biggest fans, Lloyd Cafe Cadena.

The iconic singer learned of the news after her Philippines fan page honored Lloyd on Twitter.

Reposting the tweet, Mariah said, "So sad. RIP Lloyd, you will be missed."

"Sending my prayers to his family and friends during this difficult time," she added.

 

 

 

The Mariah Carey Philippines page said Lloyd was "one of its best loved members."

"He will be remembered as a generous, kind, loving and humble human being," it added.

One of Lloyd's final tweets was a repost of one of Mariah's tweets.

The shocking news of Lloyd's death had the internet on its knees, as Pinoy netizens, celebrities and online personalities mourned the loss of another well-loved creator.

His friend, fellow vlogger Michelle Dy, also shared a video of herself crying to Mariah's "Thank God I Found You" after hearing the news.

The reason for his death has not yet been revealed.

Lloyd started his vlogging journey nine years ago.

With over 5.3 million subscribers on YouTube and 6.5 million followers on Facebook, he rose to fame with his funny and witty online videos. —JCB, GMA News
