Kris Bernal reports to NBI after she, Grab drivers fell victim to 23 fake food deliveries

Kris Bernal has reported to the National Bureau of Investigation after she and Grab drivers fell victim to 23 fake food deliveries on Saturday night.

In a Twitter video shared by DZBB reporter Manny Vargas on Monday, the actress said she is doing this not just for herself, but for the riders who are only doing their jobs.

“They want to get bookings as much as they can, gusto nila mag-book sila nang mag-book tapos magkakaron pa sila ng problema, ipo-process pa nila,” she said.

“Lahat naman gusto at the end of the day ay marami silang makuhang booking dahil diyan sila kumikita at ang liliit lang ng kita ng mga Grab drivers so gusto ko sila bigyang justice.”

Kris said she would've considered the whole thing as simply an inconvenience if she were the only victim, but drivers and her mom were also affected.

“Okay lang na naabala ako pero yung mom ko kasi naabala rin at siya yung kumakausap do’n sa Grab drivers kasi she wanted to protect me also,” she said.

“My mom is already a senior so ayoko na lumalabas labas siya pero naabala siya. This is not just for me but for my mother and riders na naloloko,” she added.

GMA News Online has reached out to Grab Philippines for a statement.

Kris detailed her experience on Instagram through several posts, sharing videos, photos, and voice recordings of the incident.  — Franchesca Viernes/LA, GMA News
