Shaira Diaz meets the legendary Jose Mari Chan for the first time

What better time to meet Jose Mari Chan than on September 1st, the start of Philippine Christmas?

In the "Unang Hirit" episode on Thursday, Shaira Diaz met the "Christmas in Our Hearts" hitmaker for the first time, and she immortalized the moment with an iconic photo.

On Instagram, the "Lolong" actress recreated a meme with Chan where they both peeked behind a Christmas tree.

“Pag siya ang sumilip, alam niyo na... umpisa na ng Ber-months!” Shaira wrote with a Christmas tree emoji.

The "Unang Hirit" host expressed how honored she was to meet "the one and only, Mr. Jose Mari Chan."

“Yiiiee so happy!! Malapit na ang Pasko!” she added.
