Carla Abellana thanks support group for sticking with her during most challenging period of her life

Carla Abellana is thankful to her support group for sticking with her during the most challenging period of her life.

In Nelson Canlas' exclusive report on "24 Oras," Friday, Carla no longer spoke about her split with ex-husband Tom Rodriguez but she said she is doing fine.

"Ang laki ng effort and talagang maraming factors na mag-co-contribute doon sa pagbangon mo ulit sa confidence mo ulit," she added. "Hindi 'yan isang tao, hindi lang 'yan yourself alone."

"Wala namang lumalabas na taon na wala tayong pinagdadaanan," she said. "Whether you're on top, you're happy, you're at your best, laging may papasok na challenges which is part of God's plan."

The Kapuso actress has picked up new hobbies, such as soap making and candle making. She said she has found them therapeutic.

Carla and Tom tied the knot in October last year. Breakup rumors started when the pair Tom unfollowed Carla on Instagram in January.

In July, Tom revealed that he and Carla are already divorced.
