Ehra Madrigal looks back on sexy cover girl days: ‘Ibang tao talaga ‘yon’

Several years since she did sexy covers on magazines, Ehra Madrigal said those were entirely done out of her comfort zone or usual character.

In a recent vlog with her sister Michelle Madrigal, they talked about Ehra’s stint as a cover girl for men's magazine FHM Philippines. 

According to Ehra, she is actually a shy person. As such, it was a shock to her and to everyone that she was able to do sexy shoots.

“Sobra akong manang so nagulat lahat na parang ‘oh my gosh, si Ehra, bakit nag-ganyan? Pero feeling ko ibang tao talaga ‘yon. Hindi ako ‘yon,” she said, laughing.

Meanwhile, Ehra said she misses showbiz from time to time. She admitted, however, that she wouldn’t be able to handle the working hours, stress, and pressure she experienced in the past.

“Before, syempre lalo nakilala ako na FHM (model), they would always pressure me na I have to always look thin, look good. Now, I don’t care. I’m already 37. Kung saan ako masaya talaga, go.”

Ehra tied the knot with Tom Yeung in 2017. They recently moved to Batangas, she said, where she has been getting the hang of province life - and loving it!

“Nakatira na ako sa beach and sobrang na-enjoy ko siya kasi sobrang chill tsaka ngayon, parang mas kalmado ako,” she said. “It’s really good for my mental health.”

Ehra first served as FHM’s cover girl in 2006 and placed Top 5 in the FHM 100 Sexiest Women in the World the following year. — LA, GMA Integrated News
