'SALAMAT SA LAHAT'

Barbie Forteza pens letter of thanks for ‘Maria Clara at Ibarra’

Barbie Forteza, who gave life to the character Klay of “Maria Clara at Ibarra,” penned a heartfelt letter of thanks after the show aired its finale episode last Friday.

“Liham Pasasalamat,” Barbie began.

Barbie then thanked the whole team behind “Maria Clara at Ibarra,” including the cameramen, production crew, and her fellow co-stars.

She also gave a special shoutout to those who supported the show from the beginning until the end.

Last but not least, Barbie expressed her gratitude to her character Klay.

“Maraming salamat sayo, Klay,” she wrote. Tunay kang kahanga hanga. Saludo ako sayo.”

Previously, David Licauco, who portrayed Fidel, also posted an appreciation letter for “Maria Clara at Ibarra.”

“Maria Clara at Ibarra” is inspired by Dr. Jose Rizal’s novels “Noli Me Tangere” and “El Filibusterismo.” Aside from Barbie and David, the show also starred Julie Anne San Jose and Dennis Trillo.
