Michelle Dee reacts to Celeste Cortesi signing with Sparkle

Michelle Dee is delighted that her pageant sister and friend Celeste Cortesi signed with Sparkle GMA Artist Center.

When Celeste posted Instagram photos of her contract signing, Michelle commented, “My queeeen is HOME[.]”

Celeste was just as excited, and replied to her, “can’t wait to work with u!!”

In the Miss Universe 2022 pageant, Celeste bowed out early, marking the first time since 2009 that the Philippines’ bet did not make it to the semifinals. Despite this, Michelle said she was proud of Celeste and told her, “Thank you for raising our flag.”

Celeste passed on her crown to Michelle.

As the current Miss Universe Philippines titleholder, Michelle is set to represent the country in the international pageant in El Salvador, Central America.

During the Miss Universe Philippines pageant, Michelle won the Best in Evening Gown special award and paid tribute to her mom Melanie Marquez’s signature S-walk and supermodel poses.
