Karylle thanks 'Encantadia' fans after reunion with OG Sang'gres: 'Grabe 'yung love'

Karylle took to Instagram to thank fans of "Encantadia" following the reunion of the original Sang'gres on "It's Showtime."

The actress shared photos and videos of her reunion with Iza Calzado, Sunshine Dizon, and Diana Zubiri, who appeared on stage for her Magpasikat performance with fellow co-hosts Amy Perez, MC, and Lassy.

“Grabe yung love na nararamdaman ng grupo namin. Salamat,” the actress and singer said in her caption.

“Salamat rin sa lahat ng nagbabahagi ng childhood/youth kwentos nila about [‘Enka.’] I’m obsessed.”

Karylle added that the excitement of her team and the fans served as her motivation for the reunion.

“The excitement of our Enkantadiks who continually give us love is super inspiring and we know you always deserve a big gift from us. And this year, [it’s] this ‘Showtime’ reunion,” she said.

Karylle signed, “we love you! Always, your Ashti Alena[.]”

Iza, Karylle, Sunshine, and Diana previously reunited for the fantasy film “Mystified,” released in 2019.

The original stars also sent their heartfelt messages to the cast of “Encantadia’s” upcoming spin-off series, “Sang’gre.”

“Sang’gre,” will feature a new generation of diwatas. It stars Bianca Umali as Terra, the new keeper of the Brilyante ng Lupa; Faith Da Silva as Flamarra, keeper of the Brilyante ng Apoy; Kelvin Miranda as Adamus, the new protector of the Brilyante ng Tubig; and Angel Guardian as Deia, the keeper of the Brilyante ng Hangin.

Rhian Ramos is also joining the series as Mitena, Cassiopeia's twin. Glaiza De Castro is returning as Pirena, and Rocco Nacino will be back as Aquil.
