After Barbie Forteza's high energy greeting on 'It's Showtime,' Kim Chiu says 'dumagundong ang buong studio'

Barbie Forteza brought her infectious, positive, and high energy back to “It’s Showtime” on Wednesday.

In her bright red dress, the Kapuso Primetime Princess went all out for a dance number to open the show.

After the theme song, Barbie interacted with the hosts, even greeting the Madlang People three times.

“Babati po ako? Nahihiya po ako eh,” Barbie said with a teasing smile.

After her first “What’s up, Madlang People!” Kim Chiu told Barbie, “Dumagundong ang buong ‘Showtime’ studio!”

Asked by the hosts and audience to do it again, Barbie gamely delivered a high energy greeting, this time with a spin.

Vhong Navarro recalled how Barbie was among the guests who welcomed the noontime show back when it started airing on GTV, even participating in last year's Magpasikat as a judge, and asked how she felt now that they are also being aired on GMA-7.

“Sobrang saya kasi ibig sabihin, mapapadalas na ‘ko dito,” Barbie said.

She took the opportunity to promote the upcoming series, “Pulang Araw,” which is being dubbed the biggest historical action-drama of 2024.

Along with Barbie, are David Licauco, Alden Richards, Sanya Lopez, Dennis Trillo, Rhian Ramos, Epy Quizon, Rochelle Pangilinan, Aidan Veneracion, and Angelu De Leon making "Pulang Araw" truly star-studded.
