Mark Herras has no hard feelings towards GMA Network: 'Nagpasalamat na ako do'n sa narating ko'

Mark Herras said he has no hard feelings towards GMA Network after not being renewed under Sparkle.

On Tuesday's "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," Mark said that stars don't stay in the limelight forever.

"Ako, honestly, hindi ko nilalagay sa utak ko na, 'Laos na ako,' gano'n, gano'n. Nagpasalamat na ako do'n sa narating ko. I'm very thankful sa GMA do'n sa narating ko na karera," he said.

Mark acknowledged that new and younger stars will come eventually.

"Tapos like ako, 'Di ako na-renew sa GMA. So ba't ko pa siya iisipin na parang, 'Nalalaos ako.' Kaysa isipin ko 'yung mga problema or stress sa buhay ko eh kailangan kong mag-provide eh. Nasa mindset ko [ay] trabaho," he said.

While he doesn't have resentment towards GMA Network, Mark admitted that he felt sad over his non-renewal.

"Pero tampo, hindi. Kasi, Tito Boy, hindi ako matampuhing tao eh. Kumbaga ang dami kong kailangang intindihin sa buhay ko kaysa magtampo pa sa network, kaysa awayin ko pa si ganito," he said.

Mark recently went viral after performing a hip hop dance at a gay bar.

He last appeared in GMA Afternoon Prime series "Abot-Kamay Na Pangarap."

In December, Mark and his wife, Nicole Donesa, announced that they are expecting their second child together.

The couple got married in 2021 and welcomed their firstborn in the same year.

Mark rose to fame as the first Ultimate Male Survivor in GMA Network's reality talent competition show, "StarStruck," in 2003.
