Barbie Forteza shows support for Bianca Umali's new film 'Mananambal'

Barbie Forteza showed support for Bianca Umali and her new film, "Mananambal."

On Instagram, the Kapuso Primetime Princess shared a photo of her holding up to two movie tickets, namely "Mananambal" and "The Room Next Door."

"Another thing about me is that I am a huge movie lover. I appreciate straight forward storylines with acting depth and sense of realism. As an actress, it is both a form of learning and pleasure watching films," she wrote in the caption.

Per Barbie, the two movies are "women-centric films that I admire."

On Instagram Stories, she also shared a selfie of her with the poster of "Mananambal" behind her.

"You were amazing, [Bianca]. Congratulations to everyone behind 'Mananambal,'" wrote Barbie.

Barbie and Bianca enjoy a close friendship.

Back in 2024, the two had a coffee date in Toronto, Canada. Barbie also described their friendship as "Very Monica & Rachel," referencing the iconic characters of Courteney Cox and Jennifer Aniston from the '90s sitcom series, "Friends."

Meanwhile, "Mananambal" is now showing in cinemas nationwide.

Bianca stars in the horror film alongside National Artist Nora Aunor, Kelvin Miranda, EA Guzman, Jeric Gonzales, and Martin Escudero, among others.

It is directed by Adolfo Alix Jr. and produced by B.C. Entertainment Production.

Bianca won the Best Dramatic Actress award at the Jinseo Arigato International Film Festival in Japan in 2024 for her role in the film.
