Lotlot De Leon has shared photos of Nora Aunor’s new gravestone at the Libingan ng Mga Bayani in Taguig City, ahead of Undas.

On Facebook, the actress shared photos of the Superstar's new gravestone, which featured the word "mommy" engraved in black marble, together with Nora's years of birth and death and an outline of her image.

According to Lotlot, she noticed her mom's gravestone was damaged while at the Libingan ng Mga Bayani last week, so she called Maricel of Leciram Stone Enterprise, “at nakiusap ako kung pwede mapalitan agad bago mag undas.. and true to her word nagawa agad.”

Lotlot added that she is “just so grateful for all the kindness.”

“Maricel thank you for heeding my call. Salamat sa agarang pag asikaso para kay mommy,” she said.

In her post, Lotlot had addressed fans of the Superstar who were planning on paying their respects this Undas season.

“Makikiusap po ako na sabay-sabay nating maalagan at protektahan at laging iingatan ang kanyang puntod para po mapanatili ang kaayusan nito,” Lotlot said.

“Thank you for your love for mommy,” she added.

In a separate post, Lotlot showcased Nora's final resting place with a white marble cross bearing her name and details of her birthday and death. At its foot is the new gravestone. There are flowers, rosaries, and candles, presumably from fans, as well as a statue of an angel and small Philippine flags.

“We love you, Mommy!” Lotlot said.

Nora passed away on April 16 from acute respiratory failure. She was 71.

She had a necrological funeral service at the Metropolitan Theater in Manila and was laid to rest at the Libingan ng mga Bayani on April 22, with Noranians in attendance.

The Philippines has paid tribute through initiatives like film viewings and even naming pastries after her.
