Ahtisa Manalo exudes elegant confidence at Miss Universe host country presentation
Ahtisa Manalo is one elegant, glowing beauty at the Miss Universe host country presentation.
At the event, the Philippine bet donned a custom white off-shoulder Mark Bumgarner gown with cut-outs. A pair of low-key pearl drop earrings from Jewelmer framed her gorgeous face, while a barely there necklace, also from the local jewelry brand, added a special glint to her overall look.
On Instagram, Ahtisa proudly shared that she did her own hair and makeup. "Hair and make up by me! How do you like it?" she asked as she thanked makeup artists Mickey See and Renz Panaligan for their guidance.
At the ceremony, the beauty queen from Quezon introduced herself, “Maria Ahtisa Manalo, Philippines!”
Ahtisa arrived in Thailand on Sunday to vie for the country's fifth Miss Universe crown.
The Universe Host Country presentation took place amid several issues of the prestigious pageant with the Miss Universe Organization restricting the participation of Miss Universe Thailand (MUT) national director Nawat Itsaragrisil in the pageant "for the public aggression he committed against" Mexican delegate Fatima Bosch," MUO president Raul Rocha said in a video statement released Wednesday.
Nawat has already apologized for what happened.
Earlier, the MUO and the host MUT had friction over the "Special Dinner & Talk Show" campaign launched by the latter, with The MUO calling the event unauthorized.
The Miss Universe 2025 coronation event is scheduled to take place in Thailand on November 21.
