Jackie Lou Blanco recalls Ricky Davao’s crush on Snooky Serna

Jackie Lou Blanco remembered how the late Ricky Davao once openly admired Snooky Serna, recalling a lighthearted moment from their early years in show business.

On Friday’s “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” Jackie Lou and Snooky looked back on their early showbiz memories, including a “GMA Supershow” appearance with Ricky.

“Si Ricky, ang crush niya talaga, si Snooky. Tapos mag-g-guest dapat siya sa ‘GMA Supershow.’ Eh hindi nakarating si Snooky,” Jackie Lou said.

Snooky explained that the missed appearance happened around the time of her 18th birthday.

“‘Di ba kasi, Jack, debut ko ‘yon. Tapos special ng Tito Germs, debut ko kasi. Tapos si Ricky, may duet kami ni Ricky. Ang nangyari, ‘yung voice ko, di-nub ni Jack kasi nag-no show ako. I’m so embarrassed, no show,” she said.

“That’s what I remember. He always found Snooky so beautiful,” Jackie Lou said.

Asked if she ever felt jealous, Jackie Lou shared she did not mind at all.

“Hindi naman. OK lang ‘yon,” she said.

Jackie Lou and Ricky married in 1989, but the two separated later on. Together, they have three children: Kenneth, Rikki Mae, and Ara.

Jackie Lou previously said that she regrets their separation.

Ricky passed away in May after facing complications related to cancer.
