SB19 combines EP trilogy, 6 new tracks in 'Wakas at Simula' album

SB19 has announced the track list of their upcoming album, "Wakas at Simula."

In Monday's media launch held at the Luxent Hotel in Quezon City, the P-pop Kings said they are releasing six new tracks along with all 18 songs from their EP trilogy, "Pagsibol," "Pagtatag," and "Simula at Wakas."

The new songs are "VISA," "Memories," "Toyfriend," "Everblack," "Emoji," and "Wakas."

"Toyfriend" is their collaboration with J-pop group Be:First. They performed the song during the DUNK Showcase in Yokohama, Japan earlier in March.

"Emoji," meanwhile, is a collaboration with Queen of C-Pop JOLIN, a household name in the Mandarin-speaking world.

What's more, the six tracks from "Pagsibol" will be re-recorded versions.

"When we first recorded them, we were coming from a place of hunger and hope, performing based on how we initially understood and absorbed the lyrics," SB19 said in a press release.

"Now with more experience and perspective, the emotions naturally run deeper, and the lyrics carry greater meaning. It was not about changing the songs completely but allowing them to grow with us."

Among the tracks in "Pagsibol" are "Bazinga," "Mana," and "MAPA," SB19's beloved anthem for parents.

SB19 said they will not hold a world tour in support of "Wakas at Simula," but they will play shows across North America, Europe, and the Middle East in the latter half of the year.

SB19 is already part of the lineup of Lollapalooza Festival in Chicago which will be held on July 30 to August 2. — LA, GMA Integrated News
