Jon Lucas says he reached out to Nikko Natividad following viral video controversy

Jon Lucas said he reached out to his friend Nikko Natividad after the latter was involved in a viral video controversy.

On "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" on Monday, Jon shared what he told his fellow former Hashtags member through a message.

"Kinamusta ko siya. S'yempre, naisip ko kaagad 'yung family niya," the actor said. "Sign of respect na rin siguro for Nikko, hindi ko talaga pinanood 'yung video niya."

They talked and Jon did not ask about why or how the events happened.

Jon said he has also received indecent proposals from women through direct messages. He said the women always mention the name of a condo and would reply to his stories. However, he always ignores these.

In March, Nikko addressed the viral intimate video.

In an interview posted on Ogie Diaz's YouTube channel, the actor admitted that the incident happened years ago and stemmed from a moment of weakness.

His wife chose to stay and eventually forgave him, something he described as one of the most difficult and humbling moments of his life. —Nika Roque/MGP, GMA News
