Dingdong Dantes praises Miguel Tanfelix for 'The Master Cutter' special appearance
Dingdong Dantes has nothing but praise for Miguel Tanfelix after his special appearance in “The Master Cutter.”
On Instagram, Dingdong shared snaps of Miguel from the action-packed pilot episode and said he is happy to see the young star taking on hard-action roles.
“Masaya akong makita si Miguel na sumasabak ngayon sa mundo ng hard action at kitang-kita ang dedikasyon niya sa bawat eksena.”
The Kapuso actor also commended Miguel for being fully game during action sequences.
“Napakahusay na aktor, game sa bakbakan, at talagang nagbibigay ng puso at commitment sa trabahong ito,” he added.
Dingdong likewise teased fans about Miguel’s character, Galo, hinting that viewers should watch for what’s coming next in the upcoming series “Task Force Firewall.”
In a separate Instagram post, Miguel said he is honored to be working with Dingdong
“Galo Villareal reporting for duty, Sir Atoy [Dingdong],” he wrote as he shared behind-the-scenes photos featuring his character Galo Villareal while filming in the sand dunes of Ilocos Norte.
“It’s an honor working alongside such a passionate team — and the Primetime King himself,” Miguel added.
"The Master Cutter" premiered on GMA Prime on Monday, May 11, following its early release on Netflix on May 8.
The series introduced viewers to Atoy, a Navy reservist in real life, who appears completely in his element during the show’s action-packed scenes as he portrays a highly skilled Scout Ranger.
In the pilot episode, Miguel made a surprise appearance as a soldier who goes undercover as one of the armed guards of an Italian-Argentinian arms dealer.
Directed by Dominic Zapata, the series also stars Max Collins, Joey Marquez, Sienna Stevens, Shuvee Etrata, Anthony Constantino, Charlie Fleming, Paolo Contis, Polo Ravales, and more.
