Ysabel Ortega celebrates Armea's freedom as 'Sang'gre' concludes

Ysabel Ortega has a heart full of gratitude as the story of "Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre" drew to a close on Friday.

On Instagram, the Sparkle star shared a reel of behind-the-scenes clips of her in costume as Hara Armea, Queen of Sapiro.

"Sa lahat ng bumubuo ng Sang’gre, maraming salamat sa tiwala, sa laging paggabay, and for the chance to be able to bring Hara Armea to life. I cannot begin to express how grateful I am for the opportunity to be a part of this world," she wrote in the caption.

"Sa lahat ng Encantadiks, maraming salamat sa inyong suporta at sa pagmamahal sa aming mundo at mga karakter. Hanggang sa susunod nating pagkikita, Avisala Eshma," she added.

Ysabel also has a message for her character, who found love and freedom at the end of the series.

"At para kay Armea, bilib ako sa iyong puso, paninindigan, at iyong tapang. At sa wakas… malaya ka na," she said.

Armea was undermined by the council of Sapiro when she ascended the throne, forcing her to marry Soldarius (Luis Hontiveros) so he could be king and rule in her stead.

She later fell in love with Daron (Jon Lucas), a Mine-ave warrior. He accepted to become her husband after Soldarius nullified their marriage.

Armea and Daron also shared a sweet kiss in the penultimate episode of the series, sending DarMea fans to a kilig frenzy.
