Marian Rivera, Dingdong Dantes fly to Canada to shoot their new film 'Remember'
Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes are set to star in a new film, "Remember," almost three years after the premiere of their blockbuster movie "Rewind."
According to Athena Imperial's report on "Unang Balita" Monday, the DongYan couple flew to Quebec, Canada, on Sunday evening for the film's taping.
"Remember" is a joint project of Star Cinema, Agosto Dos Pictures, and APT Entertainment — the same companies behind "Rewind." It will also be directed again by "Rewind" director Mae Cruz-Alviar.
"After three years, na-miss namin makatrabaho 'yung isa't isa.
The DongYan couple starred in their comeback movie "Rewind," which premiered at the 2023 Metro Manila Film Festival.
"Rewind" was the first Filipino film to surpass P900 million at the worldwide box office.
It is now the second-highest-grossing Filipino film of all time, after "Hello, Love, Again."
Marian just capped off the second season of "Stars on the Floor" as the head of the Dance Authority on May 31.
Meanwhile, "Broken Homes, Broken Dreams," the GMA Public Affairs special documentary hosted by Dingdong, recently won a Bronze Medal under the Documentary: Human Concerts category at the 2026 New York Festivals (NYF) TV & Film Awards.
Dingdong currently stars in "The Master Cutter," which airs weeknights at 8 p.m. on GMA Prime after "24 Oras." —CDC, GMA News
