Iwa Moto says Pampi Lacson promised to marry her after annulment with Jodi Sta. Maria
Iwa Moto said her longtime partner, Pampi Lacson, promised to marry her after his annulment with Jodi Sta. Maria.
On "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" on Monday, Iwa shared that Pampi had given her a promise ring.
“Pampi gave me a promise ring before, that he would marry me after ‘yung annulment po nila ni Jodi,” she said.
When Pampi and Iwa got engaged in February this year, Jodi expressed her support for the couple.
“'Kung alam mo lang kung gaano ako ka-happy kasi ang tagal natin inantay ‘to,'” Iwa recalled Jodi saying.
According to Iwa, Pampi proposed to her during their trip in Japan as she wanted to visit her dad’s grave.
Iwa also revealed that they are planning a wedding for 2028.
“Sa kasamaang palad po, hindi po ako Disney Princess. Kailangan ko po mag-ipon, kailangan po namin mag-ipon pareho kasi syempre medyo mahal po ang pagpapakasal. Tsaka nakakahiya naman kung ihihingi namin sa ibang tao,” she said.
“We are really trying our best to work hard and earn para magpakasal,” she added.
Per Iwa, they plan to tie the knot after the 2028 national elections. In fact, Jodi will serve as one of her bridesmaids.
“Mga August po. Para hindi na rin po magulo, tahimik na rin po,” she said.
Iwa has been in a relationship with Pampi for 14 years. They have two children together: Hiromi and Caleb.
