Sam Verzosa denies involvement in Rhian Ramos' legal issues
Sam Verzosa denied involvement in the legal issues faced by his former girlfriend, Rhian Ramos.
On "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" on Monday, the businessman and politician said the issue happened following their breakup.
"Wala talaga 'kong firsthand information regarding that case and mahirap magdagdag ng kahit ano na wala naman ako 'don. Tapos na po kami," Sam said.
Sam added that this issue was not one of the reasons for their split.
He then addressed specific allegations, such as his supposed inclusion among the private photos in the missing angpao.
"Wala po ako dun," Sam said.
Boy Evangelista of the Volunteers Against Crime and Corruption (VACC) also alleged in an interview that Rhian is angry at her former driver "Totoy" because he is still involved with Sam and shares information with him.
"I don't know what is the right thing to say Tito Boy, kasi it's already an ongoing case. It's being handled by the people involved and the right authorities so parang ang hirap naman magdagdag ng kahit anong noise or kahit ano pang mag-fu-fuel sa kaso," Sam said.
However, Sam said he met "Totoy" before as he was the driver of Rhian for years.
"Natulungan ko rin 'yan," he said.
They would also send text messages before, but not because of the issue.
In January, a 40-year-old man who identified himself as Rhian's driver and personal assistant filed a complaint with the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) against Rhian, Michelle Dee, Samantha Panlilio, two of Michelle's bodyguards, and members of the Philippine National Police (PNP).
They allegedly locked him in a room and beat him up after being accused of stealing an angpao that contained private photos.
"Totoy" was later indicted for theft by the Makati prosecutor. —Nika Roque/MGP, GMA News
