Dennis Trillo's son Calix Ho back in training after car accident, shares recovery update

Dennis Trillo’s son, Calix Ho, is making progress in his recovery after sustaining a hand injury from a driving accident.

According to Nelson Canlas’ report on “24 Oras Weekend” on Saturday, Calix has already returned to training for fencing.

“I've been back to training since last week po and I've been feeling better. I've been feeling really much better. I had a cast lang po tapos I chose the conservative way nalang po kasi I really didn't want to have surgery on it talaga,” Calix said.

When asked if the accident left him traumatized from driving, Calix said the experience instead made him more aware of his surroundings.

“No naman po. I just became more aware of my surroundings. Siguro not trauma, pero I learned so much from it,” he said.

Dennis also gave an update on Calix’s condition, saying that the cast has already been removed and that his son is slowly returning to training.

“OK na. Natanggal na ‘yung cast niya and tina-try niya na bumalik ulit sa training,” he said.

For now, Calix is taking a break from driving as his parents prioritize his safety.

“Hindi pa ulit nagda-drive,” Dennis said. “Pahinga muna sa driving. Tutal may drivers naman.”

Jennylyn Mercado also said, “Hindi namin muna pinapayagan.”

Calix figured in a car accident in May.

Dennis said that he fell asleep while driving alone at the crack of dawn.
