Golden Cañedo hopes to collaborate with Sarah Geronimo

Golden Cañedo wants to collaborate with the Popstar Royalty herself, Sarah Geronimo.

On Wednesday's episode of "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda," the singer talked about the comments comparing her to Sarah Geronimo when she won the first season of "The Clash" in 2018.

"Masaya po ako na madaming nagsasabi na kamukha ko daw po si Miss Sarah G," Golden said.

"And sobrang grateful ako dahil nung kabataan niya po until now, nanonood po ako kay Miss Sarah G and talagang hinahangaan ko po siya," she added.

She also said she wants to meet Sarah one day.

Golden took a five-year hiatus from showbiz to pursue her nursing degree. She graduated in June.

She is set to return to television on "Born to Shine" as Lexi Hipolito, a member of P-Pop group Nixi. —Nika Roque/MGP, GMA News
