Shuvee Etrata explains why she gave financial help to restroom attendant

Shuvee Etrata opened up on her encounter with the restroom attendant that she financially helped out recently.

In Aubrey Carampel's report on "24 Oras," the actress said she was touched that the attendant was a fan of "The Master Cutter."

"Habang naglilinis siya, nakatingin lang siya sa 'kin. Sabi niya, 'ma'am, nanonood talaga 'ko.' So mangiyak-ngiyak siya," Shuvee said.

"Na-touch ako kasi hindi ako kilala as si Shuvee, kilala niya ako as Tonet. So sobra 'kong kinilig and at the same time, mas na-appreciate ko 'yung fans ng 'The Master Cutter,'" she added.

At the birthday celebration of chemist-philanthropist Pinky Tobiano, Shuvee won P20,000. Pinky revealed in an Instagram Story that the Sparkle star gave the restroom attendant P10,000.

Shuvee said she knew what it was like to have nothing, so she wanted to help out.

"Alam ko kasi 'yung feeling, Ms. Aubs, na 'yung walang-wala ka na, tas bigla-bigla na lang may darating. So gusto ko maramdaman 'yun ng mga tao around me," the actress said.

"'Di ko alam kung kailangan niya ba talaga 'yung pera na 'yun pero naramdaman ko lang nung time na 'yun, gusto ko magbigay," she added.

Shuvee is one of the stars of "The Master Cutter," top-billed by Dingdong Dantes.
