1. Ignacio "Inya" Basa ('Aishite Imasu 1941: Mahal Kita')

In 2004, Dennis played the role of Ignacio "Inya" Basa in the Metro Manila Film Festival entry "Aishite Imasu 1941: Mahal Kita." A transgender Filipino guerrilla during the Japanese occupation in World War II, Inya became a spy and the lover of the local Japanese commander Ichiru Hamaguchi played by Jay Manalo.

Dennis won multiple accolades for his performance, including the 2004 MMFF Best Supporting Actor, FAMAS Best Supporting Actor, PMPC Movie Actor of the Year, and the Luna Awards Best Actor.

2. Eric del Mundo ('My Husband's Lover')

Dennis earned widespread praise for his role as Eric del Mundo, a gay man who falls in love with a married man, in the hit Kapuso series "My Husband's Lover."

The groundbreaking drama became one of Philippine television's most talked-about series and showcased his nuanced portrayal of love, identity, and personal conflict.

3. Roman Rubio ('On the Job: The Missing 8')

In the critically acclaimed crime thriller "On the Job: The Missing 8", Dennis played Roman Rubio, a prison inmate-turned-hitman who is wrongfully sentenced to life imprisonment.

4. Ibarra/Simoun ('Maria Clara at Ibarra')

Bringing two of Jose Rizal's most iconic literary characters to life, Dennis portrayed Crisostomo Ibarra and his alter ego, Simoun, in the Kapuso fantaserye "Maria Clara at Ibarra."

His performance as the idealistic Ibarra and the cynic Simoun earned praise from viewers. One of his best scenes was the fiery speech he made as Ibarra, where he delivered Rizal's diagnosis that our society has "cancer."

5. Domingo Zamora ('Green Bones')

Dennis delivered another acclaimed performance as Domingo Zamora in the award-winning film "Green Bones." His portrayal of the "feared" inmate showed not only his ability to convey layered emotions, but also his efforts in learning the Filipino Sign Language.

After playing a guerilla spy in "Aishite Imasu," Dennis found himself playing a character on the other side of World War II in the historical series "Pulang Araw."

In the historical series, he played Japanese officer Yuta Saitoh. He took Japanese lessons for the role, which saw him play a major kontrabida for the first time in his career.
