Michael Leyva celebrates Kris Aquino's media comeback: 'My heart is crying with joy'
Michael Leyva celebrated the media comeback of his longtime friend, Kris Aquino.
On Instagram, the Filipino fashion designer shared behind-the-scenes photos taken during Kris' promotional shoot for Netflix Philippines.
He could be seen assisting the Queen of All Media, who donned a red power suit of his creation.
"I have always hoped for you to stay healthy and to be able to come back to doing what you love the most," Michael said. "People will come and go, but I will always stay by your side, forever," he added.
Michael also said that "my heart is crying with joy" after seeing Kris wear one of his creations again.
Kris is set to headline a three-episode campaign as Chief Head of Insights and Content Analysis (C.H.I.K.A.) at Netflix Philippines.
Showbiz personalities and netizens rejoiced at her return to media activities while managing nine autoimmune conditions.
Earlier this year, Kris shared her goal of launching a weekly video podcast, where she plans to interview people she finds interesting.
In February 2025, Kris made her first public appearance since her health struggles when she attended PeopleAsia magazine's People of the Year awards night to show support for Michael.
