SB19, Be:First perform 'Toyfriend' on 'All-Out Sundays'
SB19 and Be:First brought the house down on "All-Out Sundays!"
The groups got together to perform their collaboration single, "Toyfriend." Dressed in the same outfits they wore in the music video, the members showed off their moves and voices on the AOS stage.
"We're actually excited performing with SB19," Be:First's Manato said. "And actually, it's our first time to visit Philippines so I'm so happy I can see many fans in the Philippines."
Ken said the seeds of the collaboration were planted when he performed at DUNK Showcase in 2025, where he met Be:First.
Junon said that he and Ken did a TikTok together last year.
"After that, A'TIN and our fans Besty became closer and that led to our song collaboration," he said.
"Our fans really pushed for this collaboration and our management helped so it could happen. That's why we're so happy that this collaboration happened," Ken said.
Pablo said they chose to work with Be:First because they have the same vision and passion for promoting their respective cultures.
"And to be able to perform on the same stage as them, it's very amazing. And in front of Japanese fans who sing along and dance with us. It's a very proud moment for SB19 and of course, Be:First," he said.
Josh said they believe in the talent of Asian artists.
"We want to strengthen it not just through this collaboration but through our cultural exchange," he said.
"We share the same goal of bringing our music and culture to the world," Sota added.
Stell said that despite the language barrier, the Be:First members are a joy to be around because they try to connect.
"They're not just kind as artists, but also as people," he said.
Leo then thanked SB19 for inviting them to the Philippines.
"I have a lot of gratitude for this group. I am very happy also because it's my first time coming to the Philippines. At the same time it's my first time to meet their fans in the Philippines."
Justin also thanked A'TIN and Besty for supporting their collab.
"Toyfriend" was released in March as part of SB19's "Wakas at Simula" album. The two groups debuted the song at the DUNK Showcase in Yokohama and then performed it in the Wakas at Simula: The Trilogy Finale concert at the SMDC Festival Grounds.
The groups are fresh from their performances at the Summer Sonic music festival in Japan.
Be:First will return to the Philippines in October for their first-ever solo concert in Manila at the New Frontier Theater. —Nika Roque/MGP, GMA News
