Bianca Umali is planning to continue her studies, the Kapuso actress revealed in an episode of “i-Listen” with Kara David.

In the podcast, Bianca shared that she chose to prioritize her cousin Samantha’s education over her own.

Now that Samantha has graduated, Bianca said it is finally her turn.

“I’m still thinking about it, but I have two choices. Either I go to a design school for interior design, or I’m also looking into a big university. It’s not decided yet, but yes, I’m excited to study,” she said.

As to why she helped her cousin, she said it "was really to pay it forward also, and it was my way of giving back to my grandmother."

“I mean, if I was fortunate enough, I could have sent both of us at the same time, but it wasn’t possible because studying isn’t cheap, especially nowadays,” Bianca said.

“I also believe that when it comes to studying, it will never be too late for anyone to study,” she added.

Bianca graduated from senior high school in 2019.

She grew up with her Lola Vicky after losing her mom at age 5 and her dad at age 10.

Bianca recently starred as Terra in “Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre.”

She will voice Ella Arcangel in the upcoming animated film of the same name. —Carby Rose Basina/JCB, GMA News
