Chrissy Teigen to have breast implants removed: 'I'm just over it'

Chrissy Teigen has decided to remove her breast implants.

After getting tested for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), the American model announced that she is now able to proceed with her breast implant removal surgery.

"A lot of people are understandably curious (and nosey!) so I’ll just say it here: I’m getting my boobs out!" she said, posting a topless photo on Instagram.

"They’ve been great to me for many years but I’m just over it. I’d like to be able to zip a dress in my size, lay on my belly with pure comfort!" she added.

Chrissy, the wife of musician John Legend, also assured her fans that there was nothing to worry about.

"I'll still have boobs, they'll just be pure fat. Which is all a tit is in the first place. A dumb, miraculous bag of fat," she said.

It seems there is a growing number of women who are getting over their implants. Last year, Filipina actress Michelle Madrigal had her breast implants removed

"I feel so much lighter, with my chest. I feel like I’m free,” she said after her surgery.  —Kaela Malig/MGP, GMA News
