‘The King’s Affection’ makes historic win at the International Emmy Awards

“The King’s Affection” makes history for Korea as the first Korean series to take home an International Emmy Award.

At the 50th International Emmy Awards held on Monday, “The King’s Affection,” starring Park Eun Bin and Rowoon, won an Emmy award under the “telenovela category,” besting other nominees, including Brazil’s “Nos Tempos Do Imperador,” Spain’s “Two Lives,” and China’s “You Are My Hero.”

The King’s Affection,” written by Han Hee Jung, follows the story of an abandoned female twin who disguises herself as her crown prince brother who has passed away.

Congratulations!
