Seventeen's Mingyu, Seungkwan, Dino announce military enlistment in September, October
Mingyu, Seungkwan, and Dino of Seventeen are set to fulfill their mandatory military service beginning in September and October.
On WeVerse, the K-pop group’s agency, Pledis Entertainment, announced Mingyu is scheduled for enlistment on September 10, while Seungkwan and Dino will begin their military service on October 26.
“Once Mingyu, Seungkwan, and Dino begin their military service, they will be unable to participate in Seventeen activities,” the statement read.
“However, they will continue to connect with Carat through a variety of content prepared in advance,” it added, asking fans for their “continued love and support” for the K-pop idols.
Meanwhile, Seventeen’s Vernon and DK are scheduled for enlistment on August 20 and September 8, respectively.
In June, Seventeen’s Jeonghan completed his military service, while Wonwoo, Hoshi, and Woozi enlisted in 2025 and have yet to finish their duties.
Other members, Joshua, The8, and Jun, are not South Korean citizens and are not required to do mandatory military service.
In January 2025, Seventeen was in the Philippines for their “Right Here” concert tour. — LA, GMA News
