Top rookie pick Stanley Pringle admits jitters in PBA debut
By MARISSE PANALIGAN, GMA News

Stanley Pringle had a solid debut for GlobalPort. KC Cruz
Stanley Pringle had a brilliant showing in his PBA debut with 14 points, five assists, and five rebounds for Globalport, but the rookie admitted he was disappointed about his team losing its opening assignment in the 2015 Philippine Cup.
"We didn't get to win, so I'm a little bit disappointed," Pringle said.
NLEX stunned GlobalPort in the first quarter for an early 14-2 lead, before the Batang Pier found their groove going into the second period. Pringle himself said he had been affected by opening jitters for his debut game.
"Once the ball was tipped, I was playing a little fast, but I settled down with my teammates, we settled down," the rookie said.
"Found my rhythm in the second, but it was a tough loss," he said, adding that the team is ready to get back and play better for their next game.
Pringle only had 10 attempts at the basket, making five for 50 percent shooting.
"I take the shots as it goes. I don't wanna force anything," said Pringle, who added that he was up to the challenge of contributing more for his team.
"If they need me to take more shots, I'll see." — JST, GMA News
