PBA: Terrence Romeo hurts calf in GlobalPort loss to Blackwater
GlobalPort's injury woes continue as superstar guard Terrence Romeo hurt his right calf against Blackwater on Sunday afternoon.
The Gilas Pilipinas rookie scored 14 points in the first half for the Batang Pier, but he did not emerge from the locker room after the break.

Romeo went back to the bench early in the fourth quarter and was inserted back into the game with 6:17 left, but he was still visibly bothered by his leg after getting called for back to back traveling violations. He will score only three more points during garbage time, as the GlobalPort found themselves down by as many as 22 points in the fourth and eventually lost, 115-103.
The 5-foot-11 guard declined to give an interview after the game as he limped his way to the SMART-Araneta Coliseum parking lot, saying that he is headed to the hospital for a check-up.
The injury is another blow to the Batang Pier franchise, as Romeo's back court partner Stanley Pringle also remains sidelined after hurting his ankle against San Miguel Beer last week.
GlobalPort is currently in the bottom third of the standings with a 2-4 card, losing their last three games with their two star guards struggling with injuries. — BM, GMA News
