FIBA Olympic qualifier tickets to go on sale on April 26
Tickets for the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament are scheduled to go on sale on April 26, the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) announced on Tuesday.
At a press conference held at Manila Peninsula Hotel, SBP vice president Al Panlilio said tickets will be available online to accommodate international inquiries.
"As of today we're getting a lot of demand of tickets. Because of this high demand of tickets, we are considering the possibility of a ballot or lottery system," he said.
Ticket prices for Gilas Pilipinas game days during the group phase are pegged at P10,000 for the VIP section, P8,500 for the patron section, and P6,800 for lower box.
Gilas Pilipinas is set to play on July 5 against France and on July 6 against New Zealand, with both games scheduled at 9 pm.
The Turkey-Canada and Canada-Senegal match-ups will be the curtain raisers on those days at 6:30 pm, respectively.
Ticket prices for the non-Gilas game day on July 7 come in cheaper, with P5,000 for the VIP section, P4,000 for the patron section, and P3,000 for lower box.
Senegal will face Turkey in the first game while New Zealand will clash with France in the second game.
Tickets for the semifinals matches on July 9 are pegged at P12,000 for the VIP section, P10,000 for the patron section, and P8,000 for lower box.
Championship game tickets on July 10 cost P14,000 for the VIP section, P12,000 for the patron section, and P10,000 for lower box.
