PBA: LA Tenorio sets new record for most consecutive games played with 597
LA Tenorio is the Philippine Basketball Association's (PBA) new "Iron Man."
On Sunday, the league recognized Barangay Ginebra's Tenorio for achieving the record of the most number of games consecutively played by a PBA player: 597.

Tenorio recorded his 597th game in their match against rivals Magnolia Hotshots, surpassing the record of 596 made by of one of the greatest players in the PBA, Alvin Patrimonio.

Tenorio was drafted fourth overall in 2006 by the San Miguel Beermen. He also played for the Alaska Aces, then his stint with Barangay Ginebra started in 2012. — Justin Kenneth Carandang/BM, GMA News
