Divine Adili's public wake at Arlington to conclude tonight, says Ateneo

The Ateneo de Manila University said Wednesday will be the final night of the public wake for Chukwuemeka Divine Adili at the Arlington Memorial Chapel in Quezon City.

The university said the arrangement is in accordance with the wishes of the Adili family.

“In accordance with the wishes of the Adili family, the public wake for Mr. Chukwuemeka Divine Adili will conclude tonight in preparation for his repatriation to Nigeria,” Ateneo said in a statement on Wednesday.

“A final send-off Mass will be arranged by Ateneo and scheduled shortly after his journey home begins.”

Adili’s remains were first brought to Arlington before being transferred to Ateneo last Friday night. They were returned to Arlington on Wednesday.

Divine’s father, Elias Adili, is expected to travel to the Philippines to oversee the repatriation of his son’s remains.
