Kiefer Ravena found a new home in the Japan B. League after the Filipino import inked a deal to join the Ryukyu Golden Kings for the 2026-2027 season.

Ryukyu announced Ravena's signing on Friday after the Filipino guard recently ended his two-year stint with the Yokohama B-Corsairs last May.

Ryukyu is among the league's top clubs, having reached the finals in the past five seasons.

In the 2021-2022 edition, the team reached the finals but lost to Utsunomiya Brex in the best-of-three series. The Golden Kings completed their redemption arc the following year, sweeping Chiba Jets in the finals to capture their first-ever title.

The next three years, however, proved heartbreaking for the club after they settled for three straight runner-up finishes, bowing to Hiroshima in 2024, Utsunomiya again in 2025, and Nagasaki in the recent 2026 edition.

"I'm very excited to be part of the Ryukyu Golden Kings. As one of the top organizations in the league, I'll be ready to do my best to represent the city of Okinawa and the fans of the Kings," Ravena said.

"I am very happy to be a member of the Ryukyu Golden Kings. As a member of the organization that represents the league, I will do my best to become a worthy player to represent the city of Okinawa and the Kings fans."
