Global FC set to host Group B in AFC President's Cup

AFC President's Cup debutants Global FC will also be hosting their group in the regional football tournament, it was announced Tuesday via the Asian Football Confederation's Ustream of the draw.

Global FC, UFL champions last season, are grouped with Dordoi Bishkek of Krygyzstan, Yeedzin of Bhutan and KRL of Pakistan. It was also announced that Global will get home field advantage, as it will be hosting Group B in the Philippines, later in May. The AFC President's Cup is an annual tournament between top clubs from what the confederation classifies as "emerging countries" in its region. Tajikistan side Regar TadAZ has won the title three times, though the 2012 edition of the competition was won by another team from that country, Istiqlol.
