Who is Iva Jovic?
Jovic, 18, is currently the world No. 14 and holds one WTA title, which she won at the Guadalajara Open last year.
This is Jovic’s third US Open appearance, having reached the second round in each of the past two editions of the tournament.
Jovic reached the third round after beating Magdalena Frech, 7-5, 6-3, and Francesca Jones, 6-4, 6-4.
