Young karateka Marie June Adriano powered past Ya-chi Chung of Chinese Taipei to clinch a bronze medal in the 2026 Asian Games women's kumite -50kg on Wednesday at the Toyohashi Gymnasium in Japan.

Gilas Pilipinas is headed to the quarterfinals of the men's 3x3 basketball competition after a sweep of the group stage.
