(It was good to chat with our two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos ‘Caloy’ Yulo along with his assistant coach Josh Garcia and personally congratulated him for his historic triumphs in the 20th Asian Games… We also handed Caloy a copy of Senate Resolution No. 689 that we filed on September 30, 2026, recognizing his two gold medals for the Philippines.)
Aside from honoring Yulo with the resolution, Aquino also shared that he was able to discuss with the 26-year-old gymnast how the government can improve its support to Filipino athletes.
