Tokyo-bound Margielyn Didal shows off new Olympic rings tattoo

Tokyo-bound skateboarder Margielyn Didal on Tuesday showed off her newest tattoo: the logo of the Olympics.

In a series of Instagram stories, Didal showed the process of getting a new piece of art on her skin.

Didal is one of the 17 Filipino athletes who are already qualified for the Tokyo Games.

The 2018 Asian Games and the 2019 Southeast Asian Games gold medalist qualified to the Summer Games after getting enough points to put her in the top 40 women skaters of the world.

Skateboarding will make its maiden appearance in the Tokyo Games, which is scheduled on July 23 to August 8.
