Yuka Saso drops to No. 7 in world rankings

Yuka Saso slid to seventh spot in the latest Rolex women's golf rankings, dropping a spot from her previous placing at sixth.

The Filipino-Japanese golfer, who recently saw action in the 2021 Walmart NW Arkansas Championship, currently has 196.27 total points across 54 events played.

Maintaining their spots are no. 1 Nelly Korda of the United States followed by South Korea's Jin Young Ko, In Bee Park, and Sei Young Kim.

Korean Hyo-Joo Kim soared two places higher and is now at fifth spot while New Zealand's Lydia Ko dropped to sixth.

Prior to making a jump to no. 6 late August, Saso made a leap to eighth spot following a gallant stand in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics where she finished joint ninth place.
