Falcons AP.Bren clips Team Liquid Echo, clinches MSC grand finals ticket

Falcons AP.Bren exacted sweet revenge on Team Liquid Echo in their all-Filipino semifinals clash, 3-1, on Friday in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to advance to the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Mid-Season Cup (MSC) 2024 grand finals.

The Beehive finally got back at the Cavalry, who swept them during the MPL Philippines Season 13 finals just weeks ago. They now await their finals foe, which could either be Selangor Red Giants of Malaysia or NIP Flash of Singapore. 

Jungler Michael "KyleTzy" Sayson (Ling) and exp laner David "FlapTzy" Canon (Terizla) asserted their dominance in Games 1 and 2, which both saw the reigning world champion finish off Team Liquid Echo in under 20 minutes.

KyleTzy had an 81 percent kill participation, unleashing six kills and seven assists in the series opener while FlapTzy accounted for half of Falcons AP.Bren's 12 total kills with a 6/2/5 KDA as they cruised to the match point. 

Team Liquid Echo refused to surrender with more comfortable hero picks in Game 3 with Alston "Sanji" Pabico leading the way on his Luo Yi. Sanji's map awareness and diversion enabled them to prevent a backdoor attempt by Angelo "Pheww" Arcangel (Julian) en route to a wipeout and the victory. 

Falcons AP.Bren, though, did not let that setback take the fight out of them with a masterful Game 4 win to barge to the finals stage. 

Falcons AP. Bren is now a win away from capturing the only missing title in its trophy cabinet--an MSC championship--after already capturing the two world titles and two MPL Philippines championships.
