2026 Palarong Pambansa medal tally and updates
The 2026 Palarong Pambansa is in full swing, with the National Capital Region leading the medal race in regular sports events as of Wednesday morning, according to the Department of Education.
DepEd’s latest tally showed NCR collecting 12 gold medals, five silver medals, and seven bronze medals. Western Visayas followed with seven golds, five silvers, and six bronzes, while CALABARZON tallied six golds, seven silvers, and six bronzes.
In demonstration sports, SOCCSKSARGEN paced the field with four golds, two silvers, and three bronzes.
Meanwhile, Region VI topped the Para Games medal standings with six gold medals, seven silver medals, and five bronze medals.
