2026 Palarong Pambansa updated medal tally (May 28, 2026)

The 2026 Palarong Pambansa continues to heat up, with the National Capital Region (NCR) maintaining its hold on the top spot of the medal tally released by the Department of Education on Thursday morning.

NCR has collected at least 25 gold medals, 15 silver medals, and 21 bronze medals in the regular sports events, according to the latest tally. Region IV-A CALABARZON follows with 18 golds, 16 silvers, and 10 bronzes, while Region VII Central Visayas sits in third place with 13 golds, 12 silvers, and 10 bronzes.

In the demo sports category, Region XII SOCCSKSARGEN leads the standings with four gold medals, two silvers, and three bronzes.

Meanwhile, Region VI Western Visayas continues to dominate the Para Games with nine gold medals, nine silvers, and eight bronzes.
