Ritchie Estampador rules 16K, David Licauco tops 5K in 10 Miler QC leg

Ritchie Estampador ruled the men’s 16K race, while David Licauco emerged as the fastest male 5K runner in the Quezon City leg of the 10 Miler Series held last Sunday at the UP Diliman Grounds.

Estampador clocked 54:33 to finish first, edging Pasay and Manila legs winner Evans Bomer, who came in at 54:38. Justwin Guerrero placed third with a time of 55:27.

Edna Magtubo, meanwhile, ruled the women’s 16K race in 1:05:05, with Jessa Mae Roda finishing second by a millisecond. Eloisa Cusi completed the top three in 1:07:27.

Licauco topped the men’s 5K race in 19:31, followed by Michael Infante (20:29) and Serdhan Cuesta (20:47).

Alfrence Braza ruled the men’s 10K race in 33:46, while Mary Jane Pagayon topped the women’s 10K in 41:11. Elaine de Guzman, meanwhile, won the women’s 5K in 26:50.

The Rexona 10 Miler Series will hold its final two legs in Makati on September 13 and Iloilo on November 29.
