Alas Men fall to Cambodia in SEA V Cup second-leg debut

The Alas Pilipinas Men dropped their opening match of the second leg of the SEA V Cup, falling to Leg 1 champion Cambodia, 25-20, 25-21, 26-24, on Thursday in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Joshua Magalaman and Jude Garcia paced the Philippines with 14 points each, while Jian Salarzon contributed eight points.

Veasna Chan powered Cambodia with a match-high 27 points built on 24 attacks and three aces. Sarun Pin added 15 points in the victory.

The Philippines will look to bounce back against host Indonesia on Friday.
