Alas Pilipinas Women fall short against Thailand in SEA V Cup

The Alas Pilipinas Women came up short against Thailand in a hard-fought five-set match, 25-17, 19-25, 25-15, 18-25, 15-10, in the SEA Women's V.League on Saturday in Hanoi, Vietnam.

The Philippines stayed within striking distance in the deciding fifth set, trailing by just two points at 11-9 before Thailand pulled away to secure the victory.

The defeat came a day after Alas Pilipinas absorbed a 3-1 loss to host Vietnam.

The Philippines will wrap up its campaign against Indonesia in its final match.
